This gallery explores the elegant simplicity of Japanese kanji, expressed through the body movements and bodily position and stance of cats. I love the simplistic combination of deep red on black. The red squares on which the kanji symbols are written are intended to show the wise and ancient world from where these symbols come: China, Japan and Southeast Asia.
